Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN): Two Kurdish detainees known as Farzad Hosseini and Mehdi Ghobadi have been released from the Kamyaran Prison on heavy bail over the past few days.

KHRN has been informed that Farzad Hosseini, a member of the Kurdistan branch of the National Unity Party, was released on a bail of one billion Tomans. He was detained by security forces in Kamyaran on Feb 17, 2019. This activist was transferred from the detention centre of the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Sanandaj to the Kamyaran Prison last week.

Also, Mehdi Ghobadi, who was arrested by security forces in Kamyaran and transferred to Kamyaran Prison after three weeks, was released on a bail of 300 million Tomans.

Despite the release of these two detainees, four other detainees including “Hossein Kamangar, Isa Feizi, Khaled Zamani, and Bassam Moradi” are still detained at the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Sanandaj.

It should be noted that dozens of activists have been arrested in Sanandaj, Marivan, and Kamyaran on charges of cooperating with the opposition Kurdish parties by the forces of the intelligence Unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and Ministry of Intelligence forces since January.
