A Kurdish poet and activist was released on a bail of 500 million Tomans on 23 September and two activists remain in detention, a local source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Sirwan Moradi, a member of the Koral music band who had been arrested by security forces in Kamyaran on June 26, was transferred to Kamyaran Prison last week after his interrogations had ended.

The KHRN has learned that Borhan Kamangar, another member of the Koral music group, was transferred to Kamyaran Prison on 2 September after interrogations.

Meanwhile, another detained civilian Mohammad Khateri is still being questioned at the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Center in Sanandaj.

Sanandaj security forces arrested Seven Kurdish activists, Borhan Kamangar, Arman Qiatasi, Sirwan Moradi, Refiq Kaki, Behzad Kamangar, Amjad Saifi and Mohammad Khateri 6 August, before taking them to the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Center in Sanandaj.

Only five of the detained have been since released on bail, while Borhan Kamangar and Mohammad Khatri remain in custody.
