In recent days, “Wali Nasiri” in Sanandaj and “Wahab Alizadeh” in Oshnavieh have been sent to prisons to serve their imprisonment sentences in Sanandaj and Oshnavieh prisons.

Nasiri was arrested on March 19, last year and released after 10 days on a bail of 500 million Tomans. He was sentenced to five years in prison by the Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, presided by Judge Saeedi, on charges of “cooperation with the Democratic Party of Iranian kurdistan(PDK-I)” and “propaganda against the state”. 5 years of the imprisonment sentences would be enforceable per Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code regarding “Aggregation of Fines”.
Nasiri was sent to the central prison of Sanandaj in recent days after his sentence was upheld by the Sanandaj Court of Appeal.

Wahab Alizadeh, a resident of the village of Bijanabad in Oshnavieh, was also arrested on July 30 but he was temporarily released on bail. He was later sentenced to 3 years in prison by the Orumiyeh Revolutionary Court for “cooperation with one of the Kurdish opposition parties”. The verdict was eventually upheld at the Orumiyeh Court of Appeal.  Accordingly, he was sent to Oshnavieh Prison on Sunday, February 16, to serve his sentence.
