Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN): Idris Menbari and Rebvar Menbari, members of the Nozhin cultural-social association, were released after being released for four days. Zahra Mohammadi, another member of the association, is still in detention.

A reliable source told KHRN that police force forces had stormed into the homes of Rebvar Menbari Idris Menbari & Zahra Mohammadi on May 23, 2019 and arrested them.

According to the source, Idris Menbari was transferred to Tohid Hospital in Sanandaj on Friday following deterioration of his health. Idris Menbari and Rebvar Menbari were released after being detained for four days.

Zahra Mohammadi is still being detained and under interrogation, the source added.

Following the continued arrest of Zahra Mohammadi, a group of civilian activists gathered at the Sanandaj Judiciary called for the immediate release of this activist.

The Nozhin Cultural-Social association has an official license and it has been organising Kurdish language classes in various cities of Kurdistan over the past few years. This civilian organization has also been active in helping flood victims in Lorestan.
