During the current week, two Kolbars have been injured in the mountainous areas of Orumiyeh and Hawraman as a result of the mountain fall.
According to reports received by Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), on Monday, February 05, a kolbar called “Tahir Chashni Del” from the village of “Halaji” of Orumiyeh in the border region of Iran and Turkey has fallen from the Chimman Mountains and lost his life.
Also in another similar case, on Tuesday, February 06, a kolbar called Mohammad Karimi from Dazli village from Hawraman was severely injured on his leg by the fall from the high mountains.
It is worth noting that last week, two Kolbars called Jadih and Sabri Valinjad from Oruk village, MarmiSho, from Orumiyeh Province, disappeared in the avalanche and snow in the mountains.
Every year in winter, with the onset of chill and snowfall, a number of kolbars in fear of being captured by border guards choose dangerous mountainous ways for carrying goods. However, such decision results in losing their life due to frost and falling from mountains.
