On Tuesday, two activists from Bukan, who were arrested last March during the protest Against Turkish Attack on Kurds in Afarin, were temporarily released.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that on Tuesday, April 18, two activists from Bukan known as Jafar (Dara) Amini and Hamed Sepehri both arrested on Wednesday, March 14 during the protest Against Turkish Attack on Kurds in Afarin were temporarily released on bail of 50 million Toman until the trial.

The two activists are members of the Bukan Valat Association, and they have been told that their trial will be held on May 5th this year.

The two activists were transferred to the intelligence Detention Centre of Orumiyeh after being arrested by the authorities and interrogated until Apr 17, 2018, on charges of acting against national security.

It should be noted that Following the protest rally against the Turkish military attack, a group of civil activists were arrested in a number of cities in Kurdistan such as Marivan and Kamyaran and some of them were released later on bail.
