On Wednesday night, February 07, Iranian police officers chased a vehicle belonging to a tradesman from Bukan on the Boukan-Tabriz route. This chase led to an accident in which the vehicle was hit by a truck. The driver (tradesman) lost his life in the accident and the two other passengers of the vehicle were arrested.

According to reports received by Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) on Wednesday night, Iranian police officers police officers chased a vehicle belonging to a Kurdish Tradesman called Sedigh Rahimpour carrying Fabrics near Ajabshir on the road from Boukan-Tabriz. During this chase, despite the knowing that the vehicle cargo was only fabric, the police officers targeted the car which led to the driver losing control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle was hit by a truck.

The Tradesman lost his life in the accident and the two other passengers of the Vehicle, called Ali and Khalid Rahimpour, were arrested by police.

Every year, dozens of Kurdish Tradesmen lose their life by the direct shooting of forces or as a result of an accident for the transportation of goods (such as cigarettes, mobile phones, alcoholic beverages and fabrics) between the roads of neighbouring provinces with Kurdistan.
