Three prisoners suspected of suffering from coronavirus have been transferred to Taleghani hospital, informed sources told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
The source identified the prisoners as Majid Chenarandeh, Hossein Sarvari and Fardin Sayad Mavaneh.
According to this source, the prisoners were first transferred to the prison’s medical centre and then to the Taleghani Hospital in Orumiyeh on Saturday, May 30, 2020, due to severe shortness of breath.
KHRN earlier published a report stating that at least five prisoners had died at Orumiyeh Central Prison since the outbreak of the coronavirus. These 4 prisoners have been identified as Fatemeh Alizadeh, Hassan Javadi, Fariq Mohammadi and Anwar Ghorbanzadeh.
