During the past few days, Paveh Prosecutor’s Office issued Arrest Warrants for 45 Kurdish citizens of Nosoud following the application filed by the Border Regiment Intelligence Unit of Paveh Officers of the aforementioned Intelligence Unit also arrested three Kurdish citizens and severely tortured them on charges of conflict with the border guards.

“On Thursday, September 21, the border guards in Nosoud Border ambushed a group of Kolbars and a 26-year-old man called “Farzad Ghaderi” from the village of “Neysaneh” sustained serious injury due to being shot in the right leg. Accordingly, the Pave County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for 45 Nosoud residents and suburban villages on charges of fighting with border guards.”, an informed source in Nosoud told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

“In this regard, three Nosoud citizens called Omid Moradi (son of Hiwa, 24 years old), Bakhtiyar Khandani (son of Mohammad, 48) and Rahman Rahimi (35 years old) were arrested by the border regiment of the Paveh province on September 25th, 26th, and 27th. They were transferred to Dizel Abad Prison after being tortured at the Paveh Regiment’s Intelligence Office,” the source added.

According to this source, Almasi (Paveh Prosecutor) issued a 150 million Tomans bail for each of the three detained citizens whose families immediately bailed them out. However, the authorities have refused to release the detainees since the torture marks on their bodies has not healed yet.
