Environmental Activist Summoned to Sanandaj Intelligence Agency

An environmental activist and a member of the Chelchmeh Mountaineering Group in Sanandaj were summoned to the Intelligence Office on 7 November, and released after a lengthy interrogation. Jamal Asadi was arrested earlier on 5 March after being summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency and transferred to the detention centre affiliated with the agency. He had been released a day after his arrest.

A Kurdish Civilian Arrested in Sanandaj

A Kurdish civilian "Mohsen Saeedpour" was arrested by security forces in Sanandaj. Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has obtained information that Security forces have raided the Kurdish civilian's home on Wednesday, Aug 21 and confiscated a number of his personal belongings in addition to transferring him to an unknown location. No information is available on the whereabouts and the reason for his arrest.
