Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN): Following further arrests of Kurdish civilians in various cities, five civilians in Mahabad and another one in Oshnavieh (Shno in Kurdish) were arrested by security forces.
KHRN has been informed that five other civilians including Heman Ismaili, Sohrab Qaderzadeh, Omid Qaderi, Khaled Koolani and Salim Shaikhnejad have arrested by security forces in the past few days during another massive arrest of the Kurdish civilians in Mahabad,.
KHRN had previously published a report on the massive arrest of Mahabad civilians and identified two of the detainees as Hoshyar Amini and Shirko Abbas Taher.
According to another report, another civilian “Ali Ismaili” from the village of Jashiran was arrested by security forces from the Oshnavieh and moved to an unknown location yesterday. He was previously detained on Jan 17, 2019 on charges of cooperating with a Kurdish opposition party butt he was released on bail two months later.
