A prisoner was executed in public at the Modarres Blvd. of Ilam City on charges of murder.
According to the Ilam News website, on the morning of September 17, 2017, a prisoner charged with murder was executed publicly at the Modarres Blvd. in the city of Ilam.
The executed prisoner has been identified as (S-D). According to the news, he was sentenced to death in December last year after killing a woman known as (F-N) in Ilam City. He was executed on the retribution of the Qisas at the request of the victim’s family in the city of Ilam this morning.
In the past 10 days, this is the second public execution in Ilam. On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, a prisoner was executed publicly on charges of the murder of two drivers on the 22nd Bahman square in Ilam City.
On Tuesday morning Sept 12, 2017, A prisoner was publicly executed in one of the main streets of Islamabad-e Gharb. According to the information obtained by Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), the prisoner is called Ashkan Ghanbari, 27 years old from Islamabad-e Gharb.
