Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that a prisoner sentenced to “retribution” (execution) has been transferred to a special ward at the Tabriz Central Prison on Monday, November 04, in preparation for execution.
Tabriz Central Prison authorities have warned the death row prisoner “Mohammad Doosti” that his death sentence will be carried out on Tuesday if the victim’s family do not show leniency.
Mohammad Doosti “murdered” one of his neighbours about a year ago during a fight, an informed source has told KHRN.
He has been “transferred” to a special ward at the Tabriz Central Prison the day before the execution of his death sentence, while previous death row prisoners held at this prison were taken to the “execution area” early morning on the day of execution.
