There is still no information over the fate of the Kurdish civilian “Sarkawt Goudarzi” from Kamyaran who was detained 10 days ago.
“On Wednesday, Aug 7, 2019, security forces raided the house of Sarkawt Goudarzi in Kamyaran, who was then arrested and transferred to an unknown location.”, a reliable source from Kamyaran told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
According to this source, the detainee’s family have referred to Kamyaran and Sanandaj Ministry of Intelligence Office several times over the past ten days to seek information about his fate, but they have not ot been offered any information about the cause of his detention and whereabouts.
“Sanandaj Intelligence forces have told the elderly mother of this arrested civilian that her son would not be released because he refused to make a confession.”, the source further added.
Nine civilians of kamyaran- “Mentat Rahmani, Sirwan Ebrahimi, Borhan Kamangar, Arman Gheithasi, Sirwan Moradi, Refiq Kaki, Behzad Kamangar, Mohammad Khateri and Sarkawt Goodarzi”- are currently detained in Sanandaj Intelligence Office. Moreover, three other detainees from kamyaran, -“Hossein Kamangar, Basam Moradi and Khaled Zamani”- were transferred from the detention centers of Kamyaran and Sanandaj Intelligence office to Kamyaran Prison.
