On Wednesday,January 3, during a siege of one of the villages of Piranshahr by the Intelligence Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRCG), a clash took place between these forces and Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. As a result of this incident, six members of the Ministry of Intelligence and IRCG were killed.

Following the outbreak of the conflict, reports from Hamza Seyyed al-Shohda’s campus in Orumiyeh yesterday indicate that three of the Unknown Imam Zaman’s Soldiers had been killed in Piranshahr and the related elements of the killings were being prosecuted.

Today, Thursday, Jan 04, a day after the clash, the Ministry of Intelligence issued a statement confirming the death of three of its officers during the clash, but IRCG has remained silent about the casualties so far.

“On January 03, the armed Intelligence Forces together with the IRGC forces surrounded the border village of Ziwe in Piranshahr and, in disrespect to the residents of this village, intended raid to the house of one of the villagers called “Mam Osman”.” An informed source in the village of Ziwe Piranshahr told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

According to this source, when these forces deliberately attempted to enter Mum Osman’s home, several members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (PDKI) confronted them. During this clash, three members of the Ministry of Intelligence and three members of the IRGC were killed. During this conflict, IRGC forces destroyed the Kurdish citizen’s house and then arrested and beat a number of villagers for a few hours while using various weapons.”, the source added.

Finally, there is no information on the fate of members of the Democratic Party, but yesterday the village was surrounded by IRGC forces and no one is permitted to enter and leave the village.
