Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) bombarded a large area of Shaho mountain ranges in Ghale Pir Khedr, which Led to widespread fires in Shahu.
Several villagers of Shahu mountain ranges have told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) that the IRGC forces, with massive military convoys transferred to IRGC bases in the Shaho Mountain during the past several weeks, severley bombarded Ghale Pir Khedr in the Shahu mountain range on Monday, Oct 5, 2018.
According to the villagers, the IRGC troops have besieged the area from the villages of Loun Sadat to the village of Diyzno, located in Shaho mountain ranges and do not allow environmental activists to be deployed to control the fires.
One of Kamyaran environmental activists has also confirmed that the IRGC forces did not allow environmental activists and the local people to put off the fire. As a result, a large part of the area is on fire.
It should be noted that KHRN recently published a report on the Militarising of Kurdistan by the IRGC.
