The systematic shootings law enforcement and the Revolutionary Guards in various cities of Kurdistan has resulted in at least 4 death and 5 injuries among Kolbars or tradesmen since late July.

According to reports to Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), these nine Kolbars and tradesmen have been targeted by the direct shooting of Iranian troops without prior notice.

The names and precise details of these individuals are as follows:

On July 24, the military forces of the Zeyni checkpoint killed a Kolbar known as Rashid Mohammad Ali from the village of Shekl Abad at Orumiyeh.

On the evening of July 25, Border regiment of Khoy shot a Kolbar from a distance of ten meters. The Kolbar called Mahmud Farsi from the Grenovik village in the Qotoor of Khoy lost his life. The body of this Kolbar was transferred to the Forensic Medicine of Khoi after 24 hours. ٍEyewitnesses have told KHRN that the border guards had first arrested and later released this kolbar but then shot him dead while he was walking away from the checkpoint.

On the morning of Friday, July 27, the Border Regiment of the Sichuman targeted a number of border tradesmen. As a result of the shooting, a tradesman named Seyed Kamil Hosseini lost his life while two other Kolbars known as “Aziz Sheikhlan” and “Salah Sheikh Mohammed” were wounded.

During the past two days, another Kolbar was killed and three Kolbars were wounded at the border of Orumiyeh and Salmas. Moreover, on Thursday, Aug 2, two kolbars called Behzad Haidaraleno and Jafar Dalayililan were wounded near the village of Amoo Khalandi while another kolbar called Soleiman Badooshie- who was carrying cigarettes, was killed by the regiment forces.

Recently a 35 year-old Kolbar called “Hassan Chilan”, married with three children, was shot by the border guards of “Khor Sape” in the border area of the Golakhani Valley and sustained injuries in his leg.
