Kurdish civilian Abdullah Weisi was released on bail on 7 November after 110 days of detention.

Weissi, from the village of Golchire of Marivan, was arrested after being summoned to Marivan Intelligence Office on 20 July on the charge of “collaboration with one of the Kurdish opposition parties.” He was taken to the Marivan Prison from the prison’s detention center in recently.

Ten Kurdish civilians and activists were arrested by security forces in Marivan and taken to the detention center of Sanandaj Intelligence Office in July.

The 10 detainees have so far been released on bail, and their charges are pending.
