Adel Salem Fard, a Kurdish detainee, was released from Orumiyeh Central Prison on bail.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has obtained information that Adel Salem Fard, a Kurdish civilian of Oshnavieh (Shno in Kurdish), was released from Orumiyeh Central Prison on a bail of 300 million tomans on Aug 18, 2019.

This Kurdish civilian was arrested by forces of the Islamic Republic of Guards Corp (IRGC) in Shno on June 16, 2019 and transferred to ward 2-5 of Orumiyeh Central Prison on Aug 15, 2019 after two months of interrogation at the security detention centre on the charge of collaboration with a Kurdish opposition party.

This Kurdish civilian is from Amirabad village of Shno and a graduate of Law from Payam Noor University of Mahabad. He was also arrested in August last year on charges of cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran but he was later released on bail.
