Ali Saeedi, a Kurdish detainee from Orumiyeh who was arrested by security forces on Aug 11, 2019, has been released from Orumiyeh Central Prison on bail.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has obtained information that Ali Saeedi was released on bail on Sunday, Sept 8, 2019 on a bail of 300 million tomans. He was arrested by security forces in the village of Hosenieh in the Soma Bradoost region of Orumiyeh on Aug 11, 2019. He was transferred to the prison after two weeks of interrogation on charges of collaboration with a Kurdish opposition party.

According to statistics compiled by KHRN, at least 23 Kurdish civilians and activists have been arrested by the forces affiliated with the Ministry of Intelligence and Islamic Republic Guards Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Unit in the cities of Marivan, Kamyaran, Sanandaj, Divandareh, Tehran, Sare-pole-zahab, Orumiyeh, etc. during the past month.
