In recent days, a Kurdish civil activist called “Saeed Dadgar” has been summoned to the Kamyaran Intelligence office and interrogated for several hours, informed sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Security investigators reportedly interrogated him on charges of “Cooperation with one of the opposition parties” and he was severely beaten during the interrogation.

During the past two months, dozens of Kurdish civil society activists in various Kurdish cities of Iran have been summoned to security agencies and interrogated for their activities.

Reports sent to KHRN indicate that security investigators have threatened most of these activists to end their civil activities.
