During the past 9 days, officers of Iranian Disciplinary Force (NAJA) have killed a Kurdish citizen and injured four others on the false pretext of smuggling in Kermanshah and Ravansar.
“On the morning of July 9, a Relief Unit under Command of Iranian Disciplinary Force in Kermanshah Chased a vehicle (Peugeot 405) belonging to a Kasibkar (tradesman) from Kamyaran at the entrance to the city of Kermanshah and opened fire on its passengers. This attack led to the killing of the Driver and injury of two other passengers in the vehicle near the airport of the city”, an informed source in Kermanshah told Kurdistan Human Rights Network.
The source has revealed the identity of the dead tradesman as “Jamal Rahmani”, a 22 year-old man from Lon Sadat Village of Kamyaran. “The vehicle, including its cargo of alcoholic beverages, was seized by the officers of Iranian Disciplinary Force. The two injured passengers, whose identity is still unknown, were also arrested”, the source added.
According to this source, Jamal’s fiancée (a resident of Shiraz) attempted suicide and died a few days ago after finding out that Jamal was killed.
Contrary to the past when news of the massacre of citizens and Kolbers on the pretext of fighting smuggling was not covered by official governmental news agencies, the media and official news agencies covered the news of killing with the headline “Death of a Smuggler” in order to justify the killing.
“On the night of Monday, July 17, Disciplinary Forces of Ravansar stopped two vehicles of tradesmen near Badrabad village in Ravansar and attempted to seize their cargo (LCDs). When finding out about the presence of Disciplinary Forces, people of the village and a number of acquaintances of these tradesmen went to help them. But one of the police officers called Maleki opened fire on the crowd. As a result, a young man called “Abdul Hamad Ali Moradi” was killed and two other citizens were injured”, the source added.
