The Iranian checkpoints forces in Bengin Khan of Piranshahr opened fire at a group of Kurdish border porters –known as Kolbar- and tradesmen crossing the border at the border highlands where one of the tradesmen was killed, local sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Kamran Bianak, from the village of Kohne Khaneh of Piranshar, was a 26- year old young man.

According to the statistics compiled by the KHRN, six Kurdish Kolbars and tradesmen were wounded and one was killed only in October. A Kolbar also collapsed and died as a result of being chased by the Iranian border guards.

Moreover, another Kolbar previously injured in September has lost his life in the hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries.
