The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Kamyaran has Interrupted the operation of phone lines across the Shaho Mountain and has turned the area into a military garrison through widespread deployment of military forces.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that the IRGC has Interrupted all landlines across Shaho mountain in Kamyaran for the past our days and IRGC forces have been testing new weaponry in these protected areas.

Several residents of the villages around the Shaho have told KHRN that, despite the announcement that the manoeuvre of IRGC in Shahu mountainous areas of Kamyaran has finished, a large number of IRGC troops are still located in the area and several new bases have been built.

According to the villagers, in addition to the interruption of telephone lines, heavy explosions have been heard in the Shaho Mountain. The IRGC has linked such explosions to testing their new weaponry.

It should be noted that IRGC has destroyed a wide part of these areas known as protected areas by building military bases in the mountains of Shaho and Kusalan in addition to carrying out massive military operations in these areas on the pretext of fighting the forces of the Kurdish parties.
