Following the massive condemnation of the Turkish Army’s attack on the Canton of Afrin by various cultural and civilian figures and institutions in Iran, Hundreds of Adherents of Yarsanism in Iran published an open letter in which they addressed The United Nations and the countries committed to the human rights clause. This open letter called for action against the crimes committed by Turkey and Erdogan per the international law to put an end to such flagrant breach of international customary rules.
These citizens emphasised that “silence against such an international crime” clearly indicates that “the principle of prohibition of adopting violence in foreign policy ” has been abandoned and the use of force and an aggressive war has become a legitimate option. Such trend will waste the international attempts to respect human rights.
More than 550 Adhernts of Yarsanism have signed this letter.
