In the past three days, four prisoners were executed on Murder Charge at the central prisons of Sanandaj and Dieselabad in Kermanshah, reliable sources told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Today morning, on Friday, April 24, the death sentences of two prisoners, Abdul Wahed Faizi and Ramyar (Payam) Mukhles from Baneh, were carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison. Abdul Wahed Faizi in 2015 and Ramyar Mokhles in 2017 were arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death.

Another prisoner Sina Mohammadi, who was arrested about seven years ago on charges of premeditated murder, was also executed at Sanandaj Central Prison yesterday morning. The execution sentence of another prisoner, Adnan Mirki, was not carried out following the leniency by the victim’s family.

According to reports from Kermanshah, a prisoner Touraj Morad Hassali, who was arrested about three years ago on charges of premeditated murder, was executed in Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah on the morning of Wednesday, Apr 23.

Prison officials are said to have carried out the execution without the prior knowledge of the lawyer and his family, on the pretext that the prisoner’s family may have a conflict with the victim family. This prisoner was born in 1985 and lived in the village of “Ghaleh Sheian” in the city of Islamabad Gharb.

Earlier this week, two other prisoners were also executed in Saqqez and Sanandaj prisons.
