Four Kurdish civilians Kamel Ahmadi Khanlar, Yusuf Ahmadi, Mohammad Amin Qazi and Kurosh Azizi were taken to Oshnavieh (Shno in Kurdish) prison during the past two days to endure their prison terms, a source told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
The four detainees had previously been sentenced to four years in prison by the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court on charges of “membership of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, PDKI” However, their sentence was reduced to three years by the Court of Appeal.
The civilians were arrested in August 2018 along with three other people, Abu Bakr Minapak, Moghaddam Mohammadzad and Tayyeb Bamrut by the Intelligence Department of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) and were released on a bail of 200 Million Tomans after about two months of interrogation at the detention centre in Orumiyeh.
The trial of these seven civilians was held at Oshnavieh where they were sentenced to four years in prison on charges of “membership in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, PDKI.”
