The border guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the border region of Orumiyeh arrested four shepherds who are Kurdish citizens of Turkey, and transferred them to the central prison of Orumiyeh.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that Orumiyeh border regiment forces detained four teenagers in the Esnadreh region while they were feeding their livetock in the patures. In addition, 900 sheep belonging to these citizens were seized.

Two of these detainees, called Adam Demir and Rashad Soren, were transferred to ward 13 of the Orumiyeh Central Prison (Youth Section) and the other two teenagers, called Habib Sourt and Bayram Souren were transferred to the Juvenile Detention Centre.

These four citizens are from the “Glyshmi” border village located in Kurdistan Province of Turkey.
