In the past few days, four Kurdish civil activists were arrested by security forces in one of the villages of Gilan-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province and transferred to an unknown location.

”On Tuesday, Dec 19, 2017, the intelligence forces of the Gilan-e-Gharb, entered the home of these civil activists in the village of Gholagholi, and arrested them while confiscating a number of personal belongings and transferred them to an unknown location.”, An informed source told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

The source identified these detainees as “Mehdi Babaei, Ghafour Khosravi, Ismail Shokri and Farshad Rahmati”, and added, “these activists were engaged in the field of environment and played an active role in collecting aid for victims of Kermanshah earthquake.”

“Over the past two days, despite their families’ follow-ups, the judicial and intelligence authorities have still not provided any information about the reason for the arrest of these detainees and where they are being detained.” the source added.
