Environmental activist Sirwan Rahimi is still being questioned at the Intelligence Detention Center of Sanandaj following passing two months over his detention. Rahimi has only managed to make two short phone calls to his family so far and he has confirmed to his family that he was still being interrogated, a source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
The security forces in Dehgolan arrested Rahimi, a member of the Green Chiay Party of Lilakh, on Sept 28, 2019 and taken to the Sanandaj Intelligence Bureau.
The two other civilians, Milad Manbari and Mukhtar Manbari from the Niear village of Sanandaj who were detained by the Intelligence Service on 7 September and 16 October respectively, are still held in custody.
Milad Manbari has informed his family that he was being interrogated at the Intelligence Office’s detention center in Sanandaj.
The charges against Milad Manbari and Mukhtar Manbari are yet to be known.
