In recent days, security forces arrested eight civilians in Baneh of Kurdistan province while raiding their home before transferring them to an unknown location.
Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that Security forces arrested Idris Karimzadeh, Hadi Ahmadpour, Farhad Ahmadipour, Bisoton Ahmadipour, Karim Karimi, Barzan Karimi, Khalil Karimi and Yousef Ahmadi on Apr 25, 26 and 27. They searched the homes of these civilians and confiscated a number of their personal belongings.
Security forces reportedly shot and beat members of Yousef Ahmadi’s family during the arrest.
Despite the enquiries of the families of these civilians made to the security agencies and the Baneh Court, the reason for their arrest and detention has not been determined yet.
