Last night, Iranian Disciplinary Force (NAJA) of “Dasht Kapran” arrested a number of kolbars at one of the border areas of the Sardasht city. In this incident, the officers injured a cover by direct shooting, and crushed a young woman under the wheels of a police vehicle.

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, on Thursday, Aug 31, 2017, “Dasht Kapran” border checkpoint officers arrested a group of Kolbars near “Birwan Sofla” and wounded a kolbar called Wahed from Nalas by direct shooting.

A group of local people subsequently released the detained Kolbars by ghathering in front of the NAJA checkpoints in Dasht Kapran and Birwan Sofla village and.

According to an eyewitness, a police vehicle in the village of Birwan Sofla hit a 23-year-old woman called Zolfa Bewarani who was severely injured. She was on her way home with her family from a party.

Both wounded citizens were transferred to Sardasht Hospital.

Earlier on Saturday, Aug 27, 2017, Iran’s border checkpoint officers of the “Barde Pan” at the border of “Keily”(in Sardasht) arrested seven Kolbars who were not carrying any cargo from the village of Beiran and transferred them to the border checkpoint detention centre in Sardasht. The Kolbars were released by Sardasht court the next day after paying a fine of 50 thousand Tomans.
