Following the protest rally against the Turkish military attack, A group of civil activists have been arrested in a number of cities in Kurdistan such as Marivan and Kamyaran. Nine of the detainees have been released on bail but there is no information available on the fate of others.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that on Monday evening of March 12, 2018, security forces arrested at least 20 civil activists in the cities of Marivan and Kamyaran during a protest rally in several Kurdish cities.

In Kamyaran, 8 Kurdish citizens were arrested but only one of the detainees called Mansour Seifi, known as Mansur Kormanaj from the Drooyan village of Kamyaran has been identified so far.

The security forces later raided the home of this Kurdish citizen and seized a number of his personal belongings.

Citizens detained in Kamyaran were transferred to an unknown location yesterday after being charged by Kamyaran Judiciary.

Moreover, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, nine arrested civil activists of Marivan were released from custody on bail. The detainees temporarily released on bail have been identified as Adnan Hassanpour and Arman Ghafouri, Mohammad Danesh, Diar Yazdani, Hiva Fadaei, Muslim Hesami, Ahmad Iranpanah and Faramarz Mohammadi.
