Kurdish civil activist Aram Fathi has been transferred to the city court after four days of interrogation at the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Marivan. He will be sent to the prison tomorrow due to the end of the administrative process, an informed source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN)
Aram Fathi was detained upon visiting the Intelligence Department of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) in Marivan.
Aram
Fathi is a poet and former student activist at Payam Noor Marivan
University and an active member of the Rumi and Vezhin Literary
Societies in Marivan. He has been summoned and interrogated several
times by security forces over the past few years.
The
Sanandaj Passport Authority, under pressure of security forces, also
seized his passport and banned him from leaving in November 2019.
