Two Kurdish Border Porters –known as Kolbar- and a tradesmen were killed as a result of shooting by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and drowning in the river at the border areas of Sardasht and Paveh, informed sources have told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

On July 6, 2020, IRGC shot dead a group of tradesmen in the border area of Dasht-e-Vazneh, Sardasht, killing a tradesmen named Yousef Ahmadi, a source told KHRN. The tradesmen has been shot dead by IRGC forces as he was transporting livestock from Iraqi Kurdistan. There were clear signs in the body of the businessman that showed the forces had dragged his body to the ground for tens of meters.

Yousef Ahmadi, 25, was the father of two children from the village of Alvatan in the Mirabad district of Sardasht.

Also, according to another report received from Paveh, a group of Border Porters was ambushed by the border guards near the bridge in Zolteh village of Paveh yesterday. As a result, a Kolbar drowned in the “Sirvan river”. Ayat Yousefi, 20, was from the village of Zamkan Salas Babajani.
