A young woman from Bukan who set herself on fire Jan 08, died at the Tabriz Hospital today.
According to a report received by Kurdistan Human Rights Network KHRN, the young woman, who was only 19 years old, set herself on fire due to family problems in the village of Och Tappeh in Bukan.
This young woman has been identified as Shilan Amini. Unfortunately, she died on Jan 09 due to the severity of her burns just one day after her suicide.
Self-immolation is considered one of the most painful methods of suicide chosen by women in Kurdistan due to causing severe pains and complex infections.
