Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) – On Oct 8, 2018, a first-year primary school boy died due to the fall of the worn-out School walls at the Garmash village in Sanandaj.

This student has been identified as Donya Veisi, 7 years old. This news has been confirmed by the Director General of Education in Kurdistan Province. “we have repeatedly informed the authorities that our provincial schools are worn out, but they have not paid any attention to our warnings.”, he told Asr Iran newspaper regarding the cause of this disastrous incident which took the life of a little girl and led to widespread reactions in social media.

It should be noted that, on Wednesday, Oct 3, 2018, a 5-year-old girl called Paria Gholam-Veisi lost her life after suffering from injuries in her head due to the fall of the old door of Hijra Marivan Health Centre in Marivan.
