A labour activist from Saqqez, who was sentenced to 3 months of imprisonment on charges of propaganda against the state last January, was transferred to Saqqez prison to endure his imprisonment.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that a labour activist known as Ezat Nasiri was summoned to the Enforcement Office of Saqqez and transferred to the central prison of Saqqez on Nov 27, 2018 to endure his 3 months sentence.

He was previously arrested on Dec 23, 2017, by security agents of Saqqez and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Saqqez. He was sentenced by the Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez on charges of spreading propaganda against the state to 3 months of imprisonment. He was temporarily released from Saghez Prison on bail one day later.
