A Kurdish Kolbars(porter) was killed and another wounded by the direct shooting of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) inside Iraqi Kurdistan region.
An informed source in the Kurdistan region told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) that on Monday, May 21,Iranian Revolutionary Guards, known as Pasdaran, entered Iraqi Kurdistan Region in “Kani Khommaro” and targeted a group of kolbars who were resting at the time. ِDuring this incident, a kolbar called Meysam Amoiee from Orumiyeh was killed.
Reports indicate that his corpse was then taken to Soran forensic medicine and the legal procedures for delivering his body to his family have not yet been completed.
Confirmed news also indicate that on May 19, the Iranian border guards in “Koneri” border region of Piranshahr targeted another group of kolbars.
During this incident, a kolbar called Ali Hassanzadeh from Balagir village of Piranshar wounded. Border troops prevented transfer of the injured kolbar to a hospital in Iran. So, he was transferred to a hospital in the city of Choman in the Iraqi Kurdistan region where he is currently undergoing medical treatment at Choman Hospital.
It is worth noting that during another incident on May 19, the border forces in the border area of “Khiotgah” surrounded a caravan of businessmen and kolbars,seized all their goods and cargo in addition to killing their animals.
