The security forces have targeted a Kurdish citizen’s vehicle on the Miandoab route to Bokan. This attack resulted in the death of a Kurdish citizen while there is no information on the fate of the other three passengers in the vehicle.
Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that security forces have targeted a vehicle near the cities of Gojgel and Moshirabad of Miandoab on Thursday evening, July 12. In this accident, a citizen called”Hazhar Rezaei” and resident of the village of “Castle Holakou” lost his life.
According to KHRN sources in Bukan, there have been four passengers in the vehicle and the fate of the other three passengers of the car is not known. Following the shooting, Miandoab’s Intelligence Forces and the forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) surrounded the area and transferred the vehicle to the city’s Intelligence Bureau.
KHRN sources have further stated that the body of the dead Kurdish citizen has not been delivered to his family yet. The spokesman of the security forces has stated that the other passengers were members of one of the Kurdish parties, but they have not disclosed any other information regarding their arrest or fate.
It should be noted that two other brothers of this citizen, who were members of one of the Kurdish parties opposing the Islamic Republic of Iran, have died in clashes with the security forces.
