A Kolbar and former political prisoner was severely injured at the border area of Shno (also known in Farsi as Oshnavieh) after being shot by Iranian Disciplinary Forces who then arrested him.

According to reports received by Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), on Saturday, November 05, the former political prisoner known as Mohiuddin Ebrahimi (from Alkaw village of Osnavieh), who works as a kolbar due to being unemployed was shot by the Iranian Disciplinary Forces of the “Badzorta” (Bessortha) checkpoint. He was arrested after being hit by three bullets in his leg.

His other brother called Nour Al-Din, who was also a Kolbar, was killed by NAJA forces in the Shaban border region on May 4, 2017.

“The Kurdish kolbar was taken to the hospital in handcuffs before being transferred to the quarantine section of Orumiyeh Central Prison two days later. He was also deprived of the right to visit and contact his family,” an informed source said.

“His other brother called Nour Al-Din, who was also a Kolbar, was killed by NAJA forces in the Shaban border region on May 4, 2017.”

This political was previously arrested by the security forces in 2010 on charges of cooperation with one of the Kurdish parties and was released after 11 months of imprisonment in Orumiyeh Central Prison.
