Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned Xaled Zamani, a Kurdish Civilian arrested by security forces in Kamyaran in early April, has been released on a bail of 600 million Tomans.

Basam Moradi, another civilian from Kamyaran who was arrested on Apr 29, 2019 after being summoned to the Kamyaran Intelligence Bureau, is still being held at Kamyaran Prison due to his inability to pay the 800 million Tomans bail issued for his release. He has contested the high amount of bail, but the Sanandaj Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Islamic Revolutionary Court have not responded to his contest statement yet.

Moreover, the Kurdish activist “Hossein Kamangar“, who was detained by security forces in Kamyaran on January 3 last year and transferred to the Kamyaran Prison after being held at the Detention Center of the Intelligence Bureau 6 months later, is still in prison under temporary arrest warrant.
