About 100 detainees have been transferred from the Kermanshah Security Detention Facility to Dizel Abad Prison during the past two days and about 100 other civilians are still held in the detention facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Intelligence Service, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

According to reports from Kermanshah, protesters are being held in groups of 5-10 in the cells of the Intelligence Bureau’s Detention Centre at the Oil Field and IRGC’s detention centre at the Nabi Akaram station.

Among the detainees held in solitary confinement, there are dozens of minors between the ages of 12-17.

The security investigators have beaten the detainees to make forced confessions and attend a TV interview. The screams of detainees under torture have been reportedly heard throughout the detention centre, sourcs said.

The Iranian security agencies continue to detain protesters as they tracking identities of protesters through checking videos of popular protests in the city. As per local sources, hundreds of other protesters have also been taken to the security police detention centre and are being questioned.
